At this time of year, Mr. Lepri is able to obtain most of his vegetables — corn, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, carrots and red beets — locally. And no dish showcases this produce better than his stunning entree of diver scallops with corn and white bean succotash. The scallops are richly caramelized and have a creamy, medium-rare interior. The succotash is summer incarnate: The corn is sweet and a little bit crisp, the flavor enhanced by nothing more than a bit of chopped fresh tomato, white beans, red bell pepper, red onion and basil, bound with a lightly buttered corn broth.

We enjoyed our evening at Trattoria da Lepri so much we vowed to do it again! Everything was perfect from the reservations to dessert! Food was fabulous and the menu choices made your taste buds want to try new things!
